The estate extends for ten hectares, seven of which are cultivated with vineyards, with slopes of between 25% and 45%, on which our Barbera, Nascetta and Sauvignon Blanc grapes ripen. Harvested and selected with great care, they produce wines that in just a few years have obtained more than 60 national and international awards. And there’s more than just wine.
The winery offers different levels of tasting tours, but also events, hospitality and unique experiences in partnership with the municipality of Mombercelli and others.
The terroir of Vinicola Arno is the expression of a connection between stories, ideas and projects. In 2014, the denomination Nizza D.O.C.G. was established with the aim of promoting an outstanding wine through the synergy of its producers. Nizza is a sub-zone of the Barbera terroir made up of 18 municipalities, including Monbercelli, and the denomination is subject to strict specifications, with the result being a superior quality wine obtained exclusively from Barbera grapes. With our Nizza DOCG and Nizza DOCG RISERVA, Vinicola Arno sets itself the ambitious challenge of interpreting the fruits of its terroir in the most authentic way possible. 10 Years ago, our amazing region was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, further testifying to the value of this area. The sense of belonging to a land that has always borne fruits, results and progress. A land in which Vinicola Arno contributes with its wines, its history, its projects and its voice.

Gently rolling hills that form a splendid natural amphitheatre. For UNESCO, it is a landscape of outstanding beauty, characterized by the ancient tradition of the cultivation of vines and the art of winemaking, which is deeply rooted in the local community. And it is right here, on this land, that Vinicola Arno produces its wines.
TEN YEARS OF NIZZA D.O.C.G.
The denomination Nizza D.O.C.G. was awarded with the intent of highlighting the link between the terroir and the production of a wine with great potential for growth. This denomination is based on strict specifications and the common goal of producing an excellent wine. 2024 was an important year, the denomination celebrated its first ten years and the official association of Producers of Nizza D.O.C.G. reached an incredible milestone: 1 million bottles sold.
EXCELLENCE AND UNIQUENESS OF THE TERROIR
Vinicola Arno celebrates the excellence and uniqueness of its terroir as part of the Italian Federation of Independent Winemakers (FIVI), and actively participates in firmly established local associations, such as the Producers of Nizza DOCG, the Consortium of Barbera d’Asti and Monferrato Wines, the Astesana – Strada del vino e del cibo (Road of Wine and Food) and the inspiring ‘Giro Del Nizza’ (Nizza Tour).
THE SECRETS
OF THE EARTH
The human hand is essential, but most important is the earth. Balanced and highly typical wines, such as those produced by Vinicola Arno, come from grapes that grow in predominantly sandy soil of medium depth. The land is part of a hilly landscape with a temperate climate, and medium-low annual rainfall.
