This wine celebrates Elvira, the aunt of the founder of Vinicola Arno. A tireless woman capable of preparing sublime dishes for the customers of her tavern, which she ran alone, while also raising two children. Even today, you can almost smell the aromas coming out of that kitchen. Elvira is the first Barbera to be picked from the vine, ahead of the actual harvest, to create a rosé that represents a small challenge every year. For this reason, only a few bottles are produced: no more than 2,000 a year. With a low alcohol content in order to convey all its freshness and pleasant acidity, Elvira is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany second courses of white meat or vegetarian dishes.
